The blade of this knife is made of O1 high carbon steel. The cutting edge is very flat, designed specifically for slicing vegetables. Both the spine and the choil are rounded for comfort in use.

The handle is made of wind felled Ash from Co. Limerick, American Walnut, red Ocean plastic from Farrihy Bay in Co. Clare, sterling silver, and brass. It is an octagonal design, tapering out towards the butt for balance.
